Chris Lavis and Maciek Szczerbowksi – Clyde Henry productions – are now at a residence stay in Hucisko.
CHRIS LAVIS & MACIEK SZCZERBOWSKI (CLYDE HENRY PRODUCTIONS) are academy award nominated directors and animators. Their film Madame Tutli-Putli (NFB) won multiple awards at the Cannes film festival and was nominated for the best animated short Oscar. They went on to adapt Maurice Sendak’s Higgelty-Piggelty Pop! (Produced by Spike Jonze, 2010), and direct Meryl Streep in the film.
In 2014, Clyde henry Productions explored VR film technology in Strangers with Patrick Watson (with Felix and Paul Studios), winning Best Live Action Experience at the inaugural Proto Awards in Los Angeles. Lavis and Szcerbowski were recently recognized with a nomination for Best Art Direction (Canada Screen Awards, 2016) for their work on Guy Maddin’s feature The Forbidden Room (PHI Films, 2015).
