Artist statement
The interior of the house, the rooms and the objects, has a special appeal to me.
My works are focused on living spaces. Spaces are empty of human presence, but life is in them and the audience can portray the owners of those places. In a number of works, quotidian objects are present. This spaces are sometimes a writer’s room with a desk and reading lamp, and sometimes a room like a globe that includes an airplane propeller, and embeded wheels underneath of it, and has two light bulbs. In fact, it can not be ascertained that it is a room or a ship or a chandelier. Fantasy is the most integral part of the work. What has recently involved my mind is the presence of time in these spaces.
i have participated at about 20 group exhibition in Iran and 3 group exhibition in Italy, dubye and mexico. I have istalled 3 urban statue at Tehran, Iran. I was at a sculpter symposium in Turkey 2017.
