Joshua Schwebel is a Canadian conceptual artist. His artistic practice is underscored by reflections on absence. Through subtle displacements of symbolic materials, he draws attention to what is overlooked. Doors, transfers, postcards, voyeurism, uninvited intrusion, hiding, and trembling are recurring traits of his practice.
Artists in residency project in Hucisko in 2016 is supported by the Adam Mickiewicz Institute/Culture.pl and Małopolskie Voivodeship
